Relax... It's Your Birthday

Good morning everyone.  I wish this heat would just go now to be honest lol.  Brandon's gone to football and I just hope he will be OK playing in this heat.

Here is my card for today....

Today's card is using a digi stamp from Chi Chi memories.  At the moment it is a freebie.  I don't know if any are left as it is limited, but you can always check here.  You can use the freebie in their challenge, which I am going to be entering.  She's very cute isn't she.

I used pro-markers to colour and the papers are Basic Grey Olivia 6 x 6.  I have used my Spellbinders floral oval die to frame the image.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The black flower is from Flourish with a bling and the pinks are from Wild Orchid.  Everything else you see is from my stash.

Good morning everyone.  Still really hot isn't it?

I have a chance this morning to get a card on as I am making my lad take it easy today as he has injured his knee and the cut won't heal because he keeps either falling on it or banging it.  It's looking pretty gross so he's definately not roughing it today.

Here's my card....

It's a cute Bugaboo and he is very cute.  I loved colouring him in.  You can find him here.

My papers are from a magazine and the little sentiment tag is part of the paper set.  He is of course coloured in with pro-markers and the flowers are my ever favourite freebie die from another magazine.  The felt die-cut and white bow are from the works.  Everything else is just from my stash.

Good morning Crafters - hope you are all well.  What a stormy weekend.  Did you get the thunder and lightning.  We did and it felt pretty close too.

I chose to use Old Truck from Fred she Said Designs and I really enjoyed putting together this masculine card.  First I was going to go with earthy colours for this digi and do the truck brown, but somehow I ended up going with grey.  I think it works though.  The papers are Echo Park 12 x 12 and you can see some glossy accents on the headlights.  The sentiment is computer generated and everything else is just from my stash.

Snowy Christmas Wishes (in July!!!)

Good morning all - hope you are well.  My ears are popping at the mo.  I think it has something to do with atmospheric pressure, maybe?  It feels really heavy in the air here in Buxton.

I have yet another Christmas card lol....

It's another cute Bugaboo image and I've done something a little different with my pro-markers.  I've used the blender pen to blend the colour around the snowmen and on them as well.  It's a nice shading effect I think.  The papers are Magnolia 12 x 12 and the snowflake is a Magnolia Die.  I've used my cuttlebug embossing folder (snowflakes) which you can see at the bottom of the card.  Everything else is from my trusty stash.

This gorgeous lady is the image I chose to use from Sparkle & Sprinkle.  She is called Vivian Hat Lady.  I have coloured her in with pro-markers and the papers are Prima 12 x 12 Fairy Glen.  The flowers are Prima and Wild Rose Studio and the pink bow is from the Works.  Everything else is just from my stash.  I have distressed my papers and the image with a Tim Holtz distress wheel tool thingy lol and have added glitter around the edge of the image.

Decorating the Tree

Hi there - hope you are good and enjoying the day so far.

Here is another Christmas card to share.  I should count them and see how many I have now lol....

I have used a cute image from Bugaboo and coloured in with my pro-markers.  The papers are Papermania 12 x 12 and Doodlebug 12 x 12 (the green bit).  I found Anita's dimensional stickers in my stash from some time ago and used these as my little embellishments in the top right hand corner.  I had to use my red sequin trim from the Works again lol.  Everything else you see is just from my stash.

Birds in My Hair

Good morning all - hope you are all good and had a lovely weekend.  We had the Buxton Carnival this weekend.  Now I'm going to be a sour puss and say it was OK but I couldn't stand the heat!!  My face felt like it was melting.  A friend came along with us and her lad, my fella and our lad.  My friend loved it and so did the boys of course.  Two pics below.

Now I have a card to share...

The image is a Day for Daisies one and she is coloured in with pro-markers.  The papers are a mix of Prima 12 x 12 Fairy Glen and a piece of Viola 6 x 6 is in there as well.
Everything else you see is just bits and bobs from my stash.  Oh the little bow is new.  It's from a pack of pastel bows from the Works.

Have a Monster Birthday

Good Morning everyone.  We are taking our son Brandon to the fair that's in Buxton later on this evening.  We went last year and went on a ride which terrified the life out of me and Brandon.  I remember the ride just wouldn't end and when we thought it was going to stop, it just paused then went backwards.  It was my fault for not checking what the ride does before we got on... it just looked like a sweet innocent ride.  I don't think Brandon ever forgave me that lol.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Good morning all - hoping you are all good today.

Some of my son's teachers are on strike today.  Classes are still on for the kids but all the parents have to go and pick their kids up at 12.05pm today and take them home for dinner.  We then have to take them back at 1.05pm. Brandon has a friend coming home for lunch with him so he is looking forward to that.  He's hoping to get a kick around in the park before going back to School lol.

Once again I got to pick a lovely digi stamp from Lacy Sunshine.  She is called Izzybella Boo Cute as a Button and I have coloured her in with pro-markers.

Oldie But A Goodie Challenge - School's Out

Good morning everyone.

This is my last card as GDT for Oldie but a Goodie.  Thanks for having me :0)

The theme is School's Out, so I made a thank you card for my son to use on his last day.  We will probably make a cute little bracelet to go with it.

Remember that something on your card has to be 6 months old.  My pearl gems, card and paper are 6 months old.

Here is my card....

Well I showed this card to my son and told him I made this for his teacher and he was horrified.  He said he can't give this because it's got a flower on it lmao!!  I explained his teacher is female so she would love the flower.  He just wasn't buying into that, so I will print out a cool Kenny K image for him to make his own card (no flowers!).  He's only not long turned 8 and wants to look cool and to him this card is not cool - it's so funny really.  I wasn't expecting all this until he was 10!

This cute little image is from Crafty Sentiments and the papers are a mix of Echo Park 12 x 12 and Papermania 12 x 12.

I punched my butterflies and added pearl gems to the centre of them and the flower.  The sentiment is computer generated.

I Can't Find My Balls

Hee hee....

Afternoon all.  I have a funny card to share today and a pic of the loom bandz bracelets me and Brandon have made.

First off my card...

I love Gus and he is from Bugaboo digi stamps.  The sentiment comes with this image and I couldn't resist adding it to the card.  Finishes it off nicely I think.  The papers are Doodlebug Kraft in Colour 12 x 12.  Of course, the image is coloured in with pro-markers.

Fairy in a Box

Good morning everyone.

At long last I did the card in a box.  I got the instructions out of this months Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.  As I started adding the elements to this, I was amazed how fab it started to look.

Here it is.....

 

I used an LOTV fairy and coloured her in with pro markers, then added glitter to her wings and tiara.  The die cut flowers you've seen on here a few times now lol.  The die was a freebie from a mag, as was the LOTV papers.
I used pearls from my stash and a little acetate for some of the flowers.
