Bowie

Good morning everyone.  Im still nursing this virus I've had since before the New Year.  Really hoping it buggers off soon lol.

I treated myself to a new rubber stamp by Saturated Canary.  It is called Bowie and I couldn't resist her as she made me laugh because my hair was exactly like that when I was little, minus the huge bow :)

Here she is...

She's very sweet don't you think.  I have coloured her in with ProMarkers and the papers are a mix of 12 x 12s.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the doily is from Scribble and Scrap.

My Five (Ten) Favourite Creations of 2014

Good evening all.

First of all I would like to wish all of my wonderful blogging friends a HAPPY NEW YEAR for tomorrow.  I hope it's a fantastic year for you all.

Im joining in on Debbys Link Up again for favourite creations of 2014.  It was supposed to be five, but I just couldn't whittle down from ten, sorry, lol.

This year has been good for me, for making cards, as I have struggled to keep up creating in previous years due to one thing and another.  I love making cards and decided that 2014 I was going to stick at it and I did.  My mojo came back and I really enjoyed myself.

We have struggled (like a lot of people) financially this year and I had to make do with what I had and I think that really inspired me more.  I could only buy the basics like tape, glue, blades, sticky pads etc.  Any crafty goodies I did get were gifts.  I won lots of digi stamps from the kind sponsors on challenge blogs.  I think they are wonderful and want to thank them all.  I also got myself on two design teams, so think I did pretty well this year :)

We are slowly getting our heads above water now, so will be able to treat myself to some new goodies in 2015.  Ssshhhh - I just ordered a Saturated Canary rubber stamp lol

Anyhow, enough of my waffling here are my cards.....

Santa's Balloon

Good afternoon everyone.  We have really enjoyed the snow here.  Me and my lad Brandon have some bruises from sledging but it's all good fun lol.  I've had so much exercise in the snow as well so I hope I have burnt off the Christmas calories!

I have a card to share that I made for my fella and this is my last Christmas card for 2014....

It's another cute Santa image from the Paper Shelter.  He's cute and it is called "Yep, I Have My Methods".  Coloured in with my ProMarkers and the papers are Carte Bella 12 x12.  I only have a tiny bit of this paper left and I loved it boo hoo lol.

Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
I Love Pro-Markers - Anything Goes
Paper Shelter - Christmas Anything Goes

My Five Favourite Christmas Cards of 2014

Good morning everyone.  Christmas came so quickly and went just as quickly.  Hope you all had a great day yesterday.

Over at a blog called a Scrapjourney run by Debby there is a linky to share your favourite Christmas cards of the year.  I have seen it before and this year I decided I would join in.

 http://debby4000.blogspot.co.uk/

So without further delay, here are my 5 favourites.....

I love the colour scheme of this one as it is so different and the image is just so adorable.

This image is just lovely as is the title "Are you ready my friend".  I love how the black makes everything pop on this and the bells are wonderful.

This is a DT card I did for Penny's Paper-Crafty and this image is one of my faves.  That flake on the tip of Snowman's nose is gorgeous.

Cute, cute image.  I love my twisted papers and doily on this card.  I've never really used roses on Christmas cards before and think this has turned out lovely with them.

I chose this one because I love the colouring on this and the layout.  Another adorable snowman image.

Well that's my lot.  Really enjoyed looking back at the cards I made.  Thanks for reading and hope you have a relaxing Boxing day.
