Saturated Canary Bowie

Good morning everyone - i'm currently sitting on top of our radiator as I am so cold.  Really hope you are all a lot warmer than me.

I've done a card using my new SC Bowie stamp again.  Last time I had used a really muted colour scheme.  This time I wanted to see what she would look like with a bolder colour scheme.  I really like how it's turned out.  You can see it too well in the photo but her dots on her bow are done with black glitter, which actually doesn't sparkle much.

As usual, coloured in with my ProMarkers and the papers are First Edition J'adore 6 x 6 paper pad.  Everything else is just from my stash.

Over the Hill and Always Be Careful Where You Send Your Text Messages

Good afternoon everyone.

It's wet and windy, ideal crafting weather I think!

Well I have a card to share with you, but first of all I will tell you the stupid thing I have just done with a text message.

A text was sent from my son's School to say there were some positions available for dinner ladies/midday playground supervisors.  I put myself forward as I am looking for work.  Next minute I see another mum dashing over to the School called Jacky.  I then proceed to send a text to my fella saying "Just seen Jacky dashing over to the School.  Bet she's going after the positions".  Only thing is, this didn't go to my fella, it went right to the School!!!!  I think I must of got over excited that there were jobs going , but seriously, trust me to do something like that!  Do you think I'll get a look in now?

Anyhow here is my card lol......

I love Gus.  He makes great cards for men.  He is of course from Bugaboo and the papers are My Minds Eye, Asparagus, 6x6 Papers.  The embellishments are from The Works.  Oh and he is coloured in with ProMarkers.

Bowie

Good morning everyone.  Im still nursing this virus I've had since before the New Year.  Really hoping it buggers off soon lol.

I treated myself to a new rubber stamp by Saturated Canary.  It is called Bowie and I couldn't resist her as she made me laugh because my hair was exactly like that when I was little, minus the huge bow :)

Here she is...

 She's very sweet don't you think.  I have coloured her in with ProMarkers and the papers are a mix of 12 x 12s.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the doily is from Scribble and Scrap.
