Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge No. 249 Sponsored by Sparkle 'n' Sprinkle and Digital Delights

Good afternoon crafty friends of mine.  How are you today?  Good I hope:)

There is another wonderful challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty and the theme this week is EASEL CARDS.   Now I love my square cards so this was a bit of a challenge for me, but luckily I had my Quick Cards magazine to hand and in this issue, there was a tutorial for doing shaped easel cards so I got out my Spellbinders Scallop Circle dies and here is the result....

My lovely poinsettia is from Sparkle & Sprinkle and is called Christmas Poinsettia Digital Stamp Set.  I have coloured this in with ProMarkers.  I printed this flower twice so I could layer it up a bit.  Turned out really nice. The sentiment came with the flower.

  5. I love the shape and the easel card itself. The poinsettia is gorgeous and I like how you put the sentiment on the bottom. This is so pretty and if I ever received a card like this, I'd leave it out longer than just at Christmas. I'm sure the recipient is going to love it just as much! Hugs, Gail

  12. I tend to make square or a2 sized cards, but I really love circle shaped cards and in addition it's an easel one! How come we don't make them more often? I'm not sure, but I think your card turned out beautiful...
