A Gem of A Challenge No. 166

A Gem of A Challenge
There's another fantastic challenge over at A Gem of A Challenge and this fortnight the theme is DON'T BE A SQUARE (ANYTHING BUT SQUARE).

A bit of a challenge for me as I ADORE my square cards.  Here is my one...


Luckily, earlier this year, I purchased a Crealies die.  This is Die No. 6 and it was quite easy (and I say 'Quite') to use.  Took me a couple of goes to get it right but the result is lovely.  My sweet image is of course from Pink Gem Digi Stamps and is called Flapper Emma.  She is coloured in with ProMarkers and I have made my flowers from a Crafter's Companion flower die set.

    what a very super card, and that image is so lovely.
    Great design and wonderful papers used also.
    It must be lovely to have a die to cut out this style card as it quite a pig to do by hand.

    I've been looking for dies to help create this type of card, but haven't found it yet. Can be done manually of course, but it's lots of work. I love squares too, and a2 ones, but it's refreshing to see and create something different, and this type of card is always much appreciated by the receiver. This definitely stands out from the crowd of pretty cards:)
