A House Is Not A Home Without A Cat

Good Morning my lovely crafty friends.  Are you good today?

I would like to introduce our new rescue cat Sybil today and also show a card I made dedicated to her..

Here is Sybil

She is 2 years old and as you can see is quite a fat cat.  Now she has a home she is starting to lose weight.  She also has blocked tear ducts so her face can look mucky at time as her tears fall and dust gathers on them.  She won't let me clean her face but does so herself when she can be bothered lol.  You can't see from the pics that she has 1 green ey and 1 blue eye.  She is adorable and is now starting to be very loving towards us.

Here is her card....

It took me 3 attempts to get this shaker card right lol.  I followed the instructions out of the magazine the stamps and embossing folder came with (Simply Cards and Papercrafts) and still struggled.  I got it in the end!

Challenges:-

613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes - optional Shaker Card
A Bit More Time to Craft - Anything Goes
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for looking and have a great day.

  6. Awwww what a cute, fat cat :) She certainly looks adorable and I hope you'll get along nicely.
Great take on the shaker card, too. I haven't tried this technique yet, but the more I come across it on different blogs, the more I get tempted to do it myself :)

  7. Yay! We finally get to meet Sybil! Well worth the wait! She is beautiful! I love white on a cat - she has such a pretty coat! I could not tell that her eyes were different - such a unique characteristic! Congratulations on your new furbaby - I love her! And as for your card, I love that too! Shaker cards are my favourite - I love to make them and I love to shake them! Sorry you had trouble. They are really not hard at all - I'm hooked on them! I bet your next one will be a breeze! Thanks for sharing Sybil with us!

  8. My very first cat(when I was 10) was a torishell and white that I named Binky. We had her from a litter that my Aunt found out about that needed homes to go to. She certainly used up most of her 9 lives too. Hope you will have lots of happy times together. hugs Mrs A.
