Good morning all,

My lad is back in School today so maybe I can do a bit more crafting this week!

This card I made here was really difficult to do.  I used a the rubber stamp and it just wouldn't stamp correctly.  Eventually I got one good image out of it, but when I went to peel it off my acrylic block it came off in pieces.  It had just fell apart?????  Well at least I got one good card out of it.  The sentiments really nice on this I think.....

Aurora Wings Girl with Pansies

Good afternoon all.  We have a bit of sunshine yay!  Hope you have too.  I have a little time now to pop another card on here as my lad has gone with some friends to McDonalds and the pics.  He was very excited but a bit bummed he had to have a booster seat to go lol.  Sorry hunny but you are just 7 not 17 and safety comes first.

Well it looks like I'm on a butterfly roll because my card features butterflies again.

I won this Aurora Wings image (she is on Etsy) along with another one from one of the card challenges I entered.  It's lovely isn't it, and of course coloured in with pro-markers.
The papers I have used are from a free paperpack I got with a magazine some time ago and the butterflies I have done with a Martha Stewart punch.

Fly Away Butterfly

Hi there,

Well it's half term and already my lad and his friend are turning the house upside down and making so much noise, my heads gonna burst.

Anyhow onto my butterfly card.  This is my favourite stamp to use as I like layering up the wings and adding the glitter bits to the circles.  Also think this stamp helps make gorgeous birthday cards for friends and family.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone - did you get spoilt??

Here is a card I made using a technique that I learnt in a cardmaking class I attended some time last year.

You stamp the image onto pearlescent card and using a paintbrush and water you swipe over the image, carefully and within the lines to shade it in.  You then just dab your paintbrush onto the ink pad and paint parts of the image for contrasts of the same shade.  I really enjoyed doing this and think it looks really effective.

My fella thought this was an Autumn card because of the colours, but it's actually a Christmas card lol.

WOYWW 245

Good morning!  We had snow yesterday but it didn't stick, much to the relief of my other half who has to drive a lot for his job as an Engineer.  Not so good for my lad though because he wants a snow day.  Told him not to worry, because it's half term next week, so that put a smile on his face.  Won't be much crafting time for me though lol.  He does have somewhere to go with some friends on the Tuesday.  He's going to the pictures with them to see Mr Peabody and Sherman then a trip into MacDonalds.  He has a social life and I don't lol.

Anyhow, I've rabbited on enough.  Below is my contribution to WOYWW over at the Stamping Ground.

As you can see I have a work in progress and a load of clutter lying around.  Will I ever clean the clutter up??? Maybe, one day, we'll see lol.
