Fae with Butterflies

Good morning everyone.  How are you today?  Good I hope.  We are just chilling out this morning but I have no idea what we will be doing later lol.

I have a card to share and this turned out really nice.  My fella loves this one.

Here it is...

She is called Fae and she is from Delicious Doodles.  This is another digi stamp company I love.  I've coloured her in with pro-markers and have added stickles glitter to her wings.  I have used Kraft in Colour 12 x 12 paper by Doodlebug.  The embossed strip across the middle I made with a free embossing folder strip from a magazine.  The butterfly was made with a Martha Stewart punch.   I used a black flower and added a gingham bow and red button to the centre of it.  I had to remove the original centre of the flower to do this.  Everything else is just from my stash.

Red, White and Blue

Good afternoon everyone.  Hope you are all well.

We have just picked our lad Brandon up from Football and he won a Player of the Week certificate today.  He was so chuffed and we were so made up for him.

I did a Red, Blue and White colour combo card today as I've seen some challenges out there for these colours.

Here it is....

I have wanted some Dilly Bean digi stamps for a long time and this week I decided to treat myself to two image stamp and some birthday sentiments.
The papers are also new and they are Doodlebug Kraft with Colour 12 x 12.  I love the chevron pattern on the backing paper and the flowers.  As you can see I've used my freebie die again to make the flowers lol

Yellow and Blue will Definately Do

Good morning all.  Have you got rain today?  It's trying to rain a little here but still feels humid.

I have a bright card to brighten this dull day though.  It's nice to try a different colour combo as I haven't used blue and yellow before.

Here it is....

It is a sweet Saturated Canary image I have chosen for this card.  I coloured her in with pro-markers, although I'm not too chuffed with how I have coloured her hair.  Practice, practice, practice I think.  The papers are LOTV Petal Fresh 8 x 8.  The yellow flower was part of a prize I won from Flourish with a Bling and it was white.  I coloured it in with a yellow pro-marker to tie in with my colour combo.  The die cut I used for the other flowers and the leaves where a freebie from a mag and I bet most of you out there has it lol.  Everything else is just from my stash.

A Little Cross Stitch Fairy

Good Evening Crafty Friends.

I have read quite a few times that a lot of us crafters started out cross stitching?  Did you?

I remember I started in 1995 and the first mag I bought was Cross Stitcher.  The free gift was a little bunny bookmark.  I did the bookmark and then I did a rabbit picture from one of the patterns and I was hooked.

I still love Cross Stitch but find it a little time consuming.  You get such a quick fix making cards.

Thought I would share with you this little Christmas Fairy.  She is made from a small kit from DMC and I haven't decided what to make her into yet.

Migraines Suck

Good Morning everyone.  Hope you are all well.

This is a post just to say that I am coming out of a five day migraine and it's been the worse one I've ever had.  Luckily, I don't get as many attacks as I use too.

I haven't done much crafting sadly.  I've really missed it these last couple of days and I have also really missed commenting on everyone's blogs.  I will catch up this week on commenting on all your lovely creations.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

I'm only a little nauseous now so the worse has definately passed :0)  x

Football Win and A LOTV Fairy Card

Good morning everyone.  Hope you are all good and having fun crafting away.

I have a card to share, but first of all want to show a pic of my son Brandon and the little football trophy he won this Saturday....

He's been trying to win this trophy for a couple of weeks and now he has.  We were all over the moon with his win.  Only thing is, he has to take it back next week lol.  I don't know if you can see but he has some bracelets on his wrist which he made.  They are a new craze in his School called Loom Bandz and he has to make them on a loom.  He's gotten quite good at it and has made about 10.  He wants to make a 100 lol.

Onto my card....

As you know, the fairy is an LOTV one and I have coloured her in with Promarkers and added glitter to the wings, hair and flowers.  The backing paper is Pink Petticoat Wild Blossoms set (I got 6x6 pad free from a crafting mag).  The gorgeous die-cuts are a set from Sizzix.  There are 6 dies in the set, the vine, flowers and butterflies and they are called Thinlits Butterflies & Flower Vine.  I got these for my birthday last year and have only just used them now.  I'm quite pleased with the effect they have created on this card.  Everything else is just from my stash.
