Poor Brandon, Poor Gerbil

Good morning all.  Hope you are all good.  I had a bit of an upsetting morning as one of my son's gerbils passed away right before my eyes.  He had tumours and as I was ringing the vet to have him put down because I could see he was suffering, he took his last big breaths and died.  Brandon is going to a friend's house for tea after School then when he comes home, I've got to break the news :0(

Anyhow, I thought I would come on and post a card I made and have a look around for some challenges.

I have made this card in readiness for one of my nieces upcoming birthdays.

Fiskars border punch
Free papers from a magazine
Wild Orchid Flowers
Silver metal corner coloured with antique pink pro marker


Pro-Markers:-

Tan, caramel, pastel pink, henna, burnt umber, baby pink, rose pink, antique pink, leaf green, grass, lemon.

    Sorry to hear about Brandon's gerbil I hope he won't be to upset although it's always hard to lose a pet and those little critters done live long at the best of times.
    this card is so sweet, love your colouring of the skin tones I can never get dark skin right well I don't envy you for later on good luck!

  2. What an awful start to the week Michelle :0( It's so hard explaining to little ones when beloved pets pass away so I hope he takes it fairly well.
