Good evening crafty friends.  Hope those of you with cold weather (like me) are keeping warm.  It's also trying it's best to snow here in Buxton.  Have you got snow?

I have a card to share...

I know, my pic is really bright lol.  This image from Art By Miran was an absolute joy to colour.  She is called Tulipa.  I usually do brown or black hair, but decided to do something a little different.  Hope you like.  I have used ProMarkers to colour her in.

Art By Miran - Happy Birthday

Good afternoon crafty friends.

I have a card to share but first just want to update you how our move went as a lot of you wished us well on our move and hoping everything went smoothly.  So thank you all, very much appreciated.

The move was quite traumatic and  I don't won't to do it again lol.  As well as all the problems we had getting reconnected back to the internet some of our possessions were destroyed by rain (mostly my craft things).  This is because we had downsized and couldn't get everything in our house right away.  We left a lot of stuff outside, well wrapped, or so we thought.  It rained constantly when we were moving and so much got water damaged including all my craft papers, scrapbook album, cutting mat etc. etc.  I was heartbroken but I am slowly starting to replace it all.

Like I said I don't want to move for a very very very long time!

I don't have a craft room anymore but I do have a lovely crafting area with a new desk (a birthday present from my lovely fella) which looks lovely.  Will take pics and show you all soon.

Anyhow on a brighter note, here is my card....

My gorgeous image is from Art by Miran and is coloured in with ProMarkers.  The papers are LOTV Nitwits.  I got my gems, button and doily from the Works.  The ribbon came from the Ribbon Girl.

I have a Valentine's card to share...

 

This lovely image is from Art By Miran and I really enjoyed colouring her in with my ProMarkers.  My lovely red ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl.  I die-cut the hearts and the backing paper is print outs I have had for ages.  I think they were from Pink Petticoat. Just realised, I forgot to shade a nose in for her doh!!

Good morning crafty friends.  What awful weather we are having here in Buxton.  Is it the same by you.  Rainy, windy and just grey grey grey!  Excellent crafting weather though!

I have a card today using one of my beloved Art by Miran images....

I have coloured her in with ProMarkers and I have used an assortment of LOTV Nitwits papers in the background.  I sprinkled some glitter in the centre of the snowflakes and I have got my snowflakes and hanging stars die-cuts out to finish off this card.

Something a Little Different

Good morning crafty friends.

I'm putting a post up before my Son's friend comes around as I won't have time to do it later!

This card is a little different for me (as you can probably tell lol - oh except for the black card - it's a fave!).  I bought some new window dies and a brick stencil to create this little scene.  The little cat came with the windows die.  I like how it turned out, although I found doing the window and window box a little fiddly.

It was a fun card to do.  The brick stencil is from the Craft Workshop and the Window Dies are from First Edition.  I have used Adirondack Purple Twilight ink pad for the bricks.  My cute image I got from Art by Miran.

Blue Roses

Good Morning friends.  How are you.  We had the Buxton carnival yesterday and my lad was on the Cub's float doing an RAF theme.  Photos below.  My lad's the one with dark hair and blue shirt & tie.

First off...

This lovely design is from the Art by Miran store.  Decided to treat myself to one as I do love her designs.  She is coloured with pro-markers and I had added glitter details to the roses and hair with gel pens but they have not shown up.  My flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and the papers are LOTV Petal Fresh.  The bobble trim is from the Works.
