Good afternoon crafty friends and long time no see!

The summer holidays are nearly over and what a holiday it was.  There was laughter, tears, shocks, accidents, boredom, fun, exasperation, more laughter, more tears and some temper tantrums along the way!  It was all worth it.

I had a birthday this month and I got a load of dies of my fella.  I had no idea what to do with them until I got my Quick Cards Mag No. 169 and saw these gorgeous trellis cards.  I decided to CASE one using my own papers, colours, dies etc. and here is the result.

This card was such fun to make.  I will be using the other ideas in this mag to adapt to my creations. The sentiment and flower circle are from Digi Stamp Boutique and are coloured in with ProMarkers. The papers are LOTV Nitwits.  I have heat embossed the edges of my die-cut butterflies.

A Little Princess

Good afternoon crafty friends.  We have drizzly weather today so I am spending the day indoors catching up with boring chores (and blogging too lol).

I forgot to say in my previous post thank you for your lovely messages on my fall down the stairs especially after having a bad back.  I'm fine now and bruises almost all completely gone.  I take my time on them stairs now lol.

Spring Flowers

Good sunny morning crafty friends.  I really hope you have nice weather like we have here in Buxton today.  It's gorgeous.

I fell down the stairs 2 nights ago and I can't believe I'm still walking around.  I went from top to bottom.  Luckily it didn't seem to damage my already sore back but I am covered in the worse bruising ever!  Really need to be more careful in future.

Happy Valentine's Day...

.... to you all.  Hope you all got a little spoilt.  I got some beautiful craft storage off my fella and a card and I got my son a Valentine's teddy and large marshmallow lollipop lol.

Here is my card to my fella Col...

I got the idea for this card from one of my magazines (Cardmaking and Papercraft) and to make it you had to buy expensive dies which I don't have so I made the most of what I do have.  One of the dies was a rectangle stitch die.  I just cut a rectangle piece of card and punched little holes all around (using a ruler) and a punchy tool.  Took ages, but was worth it.  I die-cut the centre with a circle die and the grass was made from an icicle die from Joy Crafts.  My cute little image is from the Digi Stamp boutique and is coloured with ProMarkers.  I did enjoy making this!

Blooming Fabulous

Good rainy afternoon everyone.

We managed to do our fireworks yesterday and they were really nice.  Burnt my finger lighting one though lol.  Nothing serious thankfully.  It was still drizzling so we ate our hotdogs and burgers indoors.  All in all a successful night.  Hope you all had a good time and stayed safe :)
