Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge No. 198 Sponsored by Crafty Sentiments & Kenny K

Good morning friends - how are you, good I hope.

This is a scheduled post as sadly I am going to my Aunt's funeral in Liverpool today.  Won't be making it back to Buxton until the evening time.

On a much lighter note though, there is another wonderful challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty.  The theme this week is Polka Dots.  I love using polka dots patterned paper on my designs.  Please come along and join in the fun.

My card.....

My image was very kindly sponsored by Kenny K Downloads and she is called Mermaid.   Isn't she lovely.  I have coloured her in with Pro-Markers and the polka dot papers are from Wild Rose Studio Polka Dots 6 x 6 pad.  It's quite an old pad.  The swirls are die-cut.  The shells are from my holiday in Wales and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Everything else you see is from my stash.

SkateBoard Dude by Brandon Lancaster Age 8

Good morning all.  Did you get a load of rain yesterday?  We sure did, but it doesn't bother me.

Today I have a card to share that my Son Brandon did.  Now he is a HUGE fan of Kenny K images and when I have won some, I let him pick a few out for himself.  This is one of them.

Brandon coloured him in with pro-markers and he wanted the image printed out this big so it became the focal point of the card.  The paper is Doodlbug Kraft in Kolour 12 x 12 and everything else is just from my stash.

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge No. 184 Sponsored by Kenny K

Good morning crafting buddies.  How are you today?  Good I hope.  I've just been doing a little cleaning this morning but still have loads to do.  I tend to let the housework slide...... a lot... lol.

It is time for another fantastic challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge and this week the theme is Buttons, Butterflies or Bows (or use all of them as I did on my card!!).

Here is my card....

I was lucky to get to play with darling image from Kenny K.  She is called Tomboy Trouble.
The papers are First Edition J'Adore 6 x 6 Paper Pad.  I have used my little butterfly punch for the butterflies and everything else is just from my stash.

Brandon's First Attempt with a Kenny K Boy on Bike Image

Good morning!!  Rubbish weather today here.  Hope it's a little better where you are.

Onto this card which was not made by me (although I did make one similar, but will save for a later date).  It was made by my 7 year old son Brandon.  He's been dying to get in on the whole cardmaking and entering challenges thing, so this weekend I sat down with him and he got his hands on my pro-markers at long last.  We had a lovely time making cards together and he learnt a little about using different shades and skin tone.
