To A Special Son

Good afternoon Crafty friends.  Did you go out on Friday night?  I did and slept most of the day away yesterday lol - not the party goer I used to be!

It's nearly Christmas day and I still have so much to post and wrap so going to share a card before I get on with it all.....

I saw a challenge on Passion for ProMarkers for the colour combo lilac and lemon.  I thought I would try this and here is my card....

....this was a really interesting combo to work with.  The lovely image is from the Paper Shelter and I have coloured her in with ProMarkers.  The papers are a combination of old papers and I have embossed the purple paper with a music sheet cuttlebug embossing folder.  Everything else is just from my stash.

Hope from The Paper Shelter

Good morning everyone - hope you are well today.

I've got an interview at my son's School for next Thursday.  I didn't think I'd get one because of a certain text message I accidently sent to the School (some of you read about this in previous post lol).  I really want this job as it fits into my life perfectly.  It means I won't have to pay for child care as I'll be home for my son.  Childcare is just way too expensive.

Anyhow I'm here today to share a card with you.....

This image came from The Paper Shelter.  It was a winner in a voting session they had at Christmas time.  I'd voted for something similar to this, although I'm glad this won as she is gorgeous.  Everyone who participated received the winning image.  She is called Hope, so thank you The Paper Shelter.

She is coloured in with ProMarkers.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid and I have used silver mirror card as the backing.  This was a nightmare to photograph.  The ribbon and gems are from the Works and the papers are NitWits from LOTV.

Santa's Balloon

Good morning.  It's Christmas after tomorrow and I am so not ready.  Each year I am never ready lol.

I've made a card for my Son Brandon and this image is so lovely.  It is from the Paper Shelter.  Even the title is lovely, "Are You Ready My Friend".
