No Challenges Today - Just a Simple Card

Good rainy and wet afternoon to you all.  Hope you are well and having a nice day today.

Im just popping on to post a card I previously made and I really don't feel like looking for challenges today, maybe tomorrow.

I think it took me a couple of days to get over Brandon's gerbil dying and then having to tell him it died.  He broke his heart crying but was much better the following day bless him.

Anyhow, i'm going on a bit aern't I lol.  Here is my card....

I made it for my sister.

Do you know.  I make cards for my family and I never get feedback from some of them on the card.  I feel like they could say something as I put extra effort in but they never do.  I have now made the decision to just get store bought cards for those that can't be bothered to even say thanks lol.  The funny thing is, it's my friends who appreciate it more.  If i got a handmade card I would be gushing over it - maybe that's just me.

Anyhow, hope you like my card (sorry for waffling).

Thanks for looking and have a lovely day!

Poor Brandon, Poor Gerbil

Good morning all.  Hope you are all good.  I had a bit of an upsetting morning as one of my son's gerbils passed away right before my eyes.  He had tumours and as I was ringing the vet to have him put down because I could see he was suffering, he took his last big breaths and died.  Brandon is going to a friend's house for tea after School then when he comes home, I've got to break the news :0(

Anyhow, I thought I would come on and post a card I made and have a look around for some challenges.

Friends Don't Let Friends Wine Alone

Good morning all - it's gone sunny here in Buxton now, even though earlier on, when taking my lad to School it was pouring it down and it was freezing as well.  Bit warmer now!  I've come back from yet another Yogalates session and i'm aching just a little.  You think it's going to be easy because it's all sitting down (or standing up) and stretching, but it's harder than you think.  I know it's a lot harder than what I thought it would be lol.

Anyhow, onto my next card....

I agree with the sentiment by the way :0)

Decoupaged Butterfly

Hello there, hope you are all good today.  I've not long returned from a session at the gym called Yogalates.  I now make myself go to this twice a week because I really do need to shift my butt and get fit lol.

Anyhow, I was inspired to make this card because of some papers that were free in the centre of a crafting magazine, details below.  I thought they were gorgeous and I don't really like to use these papers because they can be a little flimsy and difficult to work with, but I couldn't resist them.  You can download the papers from the website but it can get a little expensive printing out papers, with the cost of the ink.  I tend to like to stick to printing digi stamps out with our printer.  I actually did get to make 2 cards with the papers.  The other card will be on my blog sometime this week.
