Fae with Butterflies

Good morning everyone.  How are you today?  Good I hope.  We are just chilling out this morning but I have no idea what we will be doing later lol.

I have a card to share and this turned out really nice.  My fella loves this one.

Here it is...

She is called Fae and she is from Delicious Doodles.  This is another digi stamp company I love.  I've coloured her in with pro-markers and have added stickles glitter to her wings.  I have used Kraft in Colour 12 x 12 paper by Doodlebug.  The embossed strip across the middle I made with a free embossing folder strip from a magazine.  The butterfly was made with a Martha Stewart punch.   I used a black flower and added a gingham bow and red button to the centre of it.  I had to remove the original centre of the flower to do this.  Everything else is just from my stash.

Red, White and Blue

Good afternoon everyone.  Hope you are all well.

We have just picked our lad Brandon up from Football and he won a Player of the Week certificate today.  He was so chuffed and we were so made up for him.

I did a Red, Blue and White colour combo card today as I've seen some challenges out there for these colours.

Here it is....

I have wanted some Dilly Bean digi stamps for a long time and this week I decided to treat myself to two image stamp and some birthday sentiments.
The papers are also new and they are Doodlebug Kraft with Colour 12 x 12.  I love the chevron pattern on the backing paper and the flowers.  As you can see I've used my freebie die again to make the flowers lol

Yellow and Blue will Definately Do

Good morning all.  Have you got rain today?  It's trying to rain a little here but still feels humid.

I have a bright card to brighten this dull day though.  It's nice to try a different colour combo as I haven't used blue and yellow before.

Here it is....

It is a sweet Saturated Canary image I have chosen for this card.  I coloured her in with pro-markers, although I'm not too chuffed with how I have coloured her hair.  Practice, practice, practice I think.  The papers are LOTV Petal Fresh 8 x 8.  The yellow flower was part of a prize I won from Flourish with a Bling and it was white.  I coloured it in with a yellow pro-marker to tie in with my colour combo.  The die cut I used for the other flowers and the leaves where a freebie from a mag and I bet most of you out there has it lol.  Everything else is just from my stash.

A Little Cross Stitch Fairy

Good Evening Crafty Friends.

I have read quite a few times that a lot of us crafters started out cross stitching?  Did you?

I remember I started in 1995 and the first mag I bought was Cross Stitcher.  The free gift was a little bunny bookmark.  I did the bookmark and then I did a rabbit picture from one of the patterns and I was hooked.

I still love Cross Stitch but find it a little time consuming.  You get such a quick fix making cards.

Thought I would share with you this little Christmas Fairy.  She is made from a small kit from DMC and I haven't decided what to make her into yet.

Charisma Cardz Challenge - Show us What Else you can Do

Good afternoon all.  Hope you are having a good day so far :0)

Today it is time for a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty and the theme this week is....

(can be Dry or Heat embossing)

A fun challenge isn't it.  I wanted to do heat embossing but my clear ink had dried out so had to to dry, which I didn't mind, I still enjoyed making this card....

I got to play with this lovely image from Sassy Studio Designs and she is called Goldie.

I have used embossing folders.  The oval one is a Cuttlebug folder and the strip behind it was a free folder from a magazine.  The papers were also a freebie from a magazine a long time ago.  It is Pink Petticoat 6 x 6 paper pad Wild Blossoms.
