I just want to thank you all for the lovely messages of support from my last post. I really appreciate them. They really made me feel better. I did imagine, though, that there were quite a few also suffering with depression every now and then. Probably like me there are good and bad days and sometimes really bad days. Depression is a lot more common than I ever thought.
Thank god for crafting as it does help and on that note, I have this card to share....
My apologies again as I don't know where this image is from. I did win her from somewhere and printed it out to store away. She is coloured with ProMarkers. The papers are Echo Park Celebrate Spring.

Hi Michelle. I find it so tragic that there are people out there in our broader (blogging) world who are battling and so often we don't know and can't do a thing to help. I didn't see your post last week (until now), but I'm glad you're feeling a little better this week. Your card last week has won our random win, so you can treat yourself to a few new images!
ReplyDeleteThis week's card is so sweet! So bright and cheerful, with fantastic papers! Stunning colouring, as usual! Thanks so much for sharing it with us at Passion for Promarkers! You'll be in my thoughts this week 😘

Congrats on your win Michelle and glad to see your feeling a bit better-it can be hereditary my hubby suffers,my daughter too and both on medication, one of my sons has been too in the past-it is definitely a lot more common than we think.

ReplyDeleteMichelle another gorgeous card. Love the bright coloring and papers. I have found a lot of support from the friends here online. I did Research as a nurse and many people couldn't go on studies because of a pre-condition of depression and yes it does affect a lot of people. More than I even thought. I also found that many people were well controlled on medications or with some form of therapy whether it be light, diet or meeting with a therapist. It's not easy, but it is like a chronic disease such as diabetes which I've had since I was 11. You learn to live with it and adjust. It's what you have not who you are. And overall, remember to smile. Sending more hugs and prayers.
ReplyDeleteLovely card Michelle, chin up honey, depression is more wide spread than we think and the support is out there.xxx[aNNie' blog]
