Good afternoon everyone.  What a rainy grey day today.  What happened to the Indian Summer we were supposed to have.

First I want to say a big HELLO to my new follower Megan Flynn - so nice to have you here.

I have another thank you card to share that I made for the people that helped me celebrate my 50th and I just want to thank you all for the comments on my previous thank you card and for saying that I am still a young pup lol (I Wish)!!

I really love using these layering stamps.  This one is round rose by Clearly Besotted.  I just used inks from my stash and sequins too.

I made these with a Altenew layering stamp that came free with a magazine a while ago.  Really love the beautiful CAS effect I can get with these.

Experimenting with a Clean and Simple Design

Good afternoon crafty friends.  Hope you are well today and enjoying the cooler weather.

We are off out to the Cinema a little later to see the new Mission Impossible film.  Should be good.

I've been practicing using my Stamping Tool and layered stamps.  I need practice but am seriously enjoying creating this type of card.

It's really nice to have a card ready for me mum's birthday.  I had to strategically place those sequins onto some ink smudges lol.  Told you I need more practice!

Something Different

Good afternoon crafty friends.  I do hope you are all well today and have been having a good summer.

Tomorrow is my 50th birthday.  I can't believe I got to this milestone already!!! Lol.

Although it isn't my birthday yet, I have had some nice surprises.  I got a Tim Holtz stamping platform which I had been wanting since I saw some youtubers using them.  So my lovely fella got one delivered to me!

He even got me a little storage case to keep it in!  Love it!

He also organized friends and family to come and visit me on Saturday.  I knew nothing about this until they all turned up on the doorstep.  I was in complete shock as I hadn't washed my hair, cleaned my house, put make up on etc. etc. lol.  But it was lovely.  He did a really good job keeping this quiet.  We had drinks, food and a damn good laugh!  It was a lovely way to celebrate my 50th (nearly).  I'll never forget it.  They all made me feel so special and I'm so grateful.

I had to experiment with this new present and I used some clearly besotted stamps which I have had for a while and I feel like these platforms were made especially for these layered stamps.

I've been dying to do CAS cards like this for ages and now I feel more confident doing them with my present.

Sweet Fairy Birthday Card

Hello crafty friends.  Hope you are all well.

I just want to thank you all for the lovely messages of support from my last post.  I really appreciate them.  They really made me feel better.  I did imagine, though, that there were quite a few also suffering with depression every now and then.  Probably like me there are good and bad days and sometimes really bad days.  Depression is a lot more common than I ever thought.

Thank god for crafting as it does help and on that note, I have this card to share....

My apologies again as I don't know where this image is from.  I did win her from somewhere and printed it out to store away.  She is coloured with ProMarkers.  The papers are Echo Park Celebrate Spring.

HELLO!!!

Hello everyone.  I feel like I've been gone for so long.  I do hope you are all well and happy.  I got a new job and it's more hours so that took me away from my crafting.  But I'm in the swing of it now and hoping that I can continue to craft more now.

Also, I suffer with depression and in the last couple of months it has gradually got worse.  It has also affected my memory as I am constantly getting appointments wrong which has been so stressful!   I am on antidepressants but they seem to be not helping me anymore.  I am now going to see a Doctor and get some more help.  I think that getting back to crafting will also help!! :)

On a much cheerful note I have a card to share!

I do apologise but I can't remember where this image is from, she is however, coloured in with ProMarkers.  The papers are new and I treated myself to them because they remind me of Spring (which I hope is on the way soon).  They are Echo Park Celebrate Spring.
