Decoupaged Cutie

Good afternoon everyone.
 
We have such deep snow.  Pics are below!

I had my interview today for the Midday Supervisor post.  It seemed to go OK and it's a good job I researched the post on the internet as I had studied up on some of the questions I would be asked.  Now all I have to do is just wait and see if I get offered it.  Would be really nice to.

I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!  Just as I was typing this post I got a phone call telling me the wonderful news!!!  WOW  - I was interviewed at 12pm and contacted at 2.12pm!!

I have a card to share....

Some of you may recognised the image and papers as they were part of a gorgeous free gift from Papercraft Inspirations magazine this month.  It is a pad filled with cute images to decoupage and gorgeous papers.  I love it and can't wait to do more.  I hadn't done decoupage for a long time so was nice to revisit this.  I don't know if you can see the layers in the pics.  The flowers are new and from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I got to pick this adorable image from Lacy Sunshine stamps and she is called Marguerite Daisy Flower Pot Pretties.

I decided to go with a sweet pink girly colour scheme and I have coloured her in with pro-markers and the papers are My Mind's Eye 6 x 6 paper pad.  The corners are from my Whimsy corner stamp set and everything else is just from my stash.

Hope from The Paper Shelter

Good morning everyone - hope you are well today.

I've got an interview at my son's School for next Thursday.  I didn't think I'd get one because of a certain text message I accidently sent to the School (some of you read about this in previous post lol).  I really want this job as it fits into my life perfectly.  It means I won't have to pay for child care as I'll be home for my son.  Childcare is just way too expensive.

Anyhow I'm here today to share a card with you.....

This image came from The Paper Shelter.  It was a winner in a voting session they had at Christmas time.  I'd voted for something similar to this, although I'm glad this won as she is gorgeous.  Everyone who participated received the winning image.  She is called Hope, so thank you The Paper Shelter.

She is coloured in with ProMarkers.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid and I have used silver mirror card as the backing.  This was a nightmare to photograph.  The ribbon and gems are from the Works and the papers are NitWits from LOTV.

This image is so adorable and it is from Bugaboo Digi Stamps.  It is called Astronaut Moon.  He is coloured in with ProMarkers and I found this lovely backing paper in my stash, which I thought suited this image perfectly.  I kept my design simple for a change.  My sentiment is computer generated.

Saturated Canary Bowie

Good morning everyone - i'm currently sitting on top of our radiator as I am so cold.  Really hope you are all a lot warmer than me.

I've done a card using my new SC Bowie stamp again.  Last time I had used a really muted colour scheme.  This time I wanted to see what she would look like with a bolder colour scheme.  I really like how it's turned out.  You can see it too well in the photo but her dots on her bow are done with black glitter, which actually doesn't sparkle much.
